Dyadic Art Psychotherapy Audio Image Recording (AIR)

Our Art Psychotherapists conducted an Audio Image Recording (AIR) with two clients who had taken part in a dyadic parent and infant group.

Dyadic groups are structured as time-limited art therapy sessions, with each week centering around a specific theme or art material for both parent and infant to explore together. Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses visual and tactile media as a means of self expression and communication.

This video hopes to capture some of the experiences of the group through an interview recorded over an afternoon and conducted by the two art therapists who facilitated the group. This AIR represents the views and experiences of these two members who have approved the final version.

We’d like to offer our sincere thanks to them both (and their infants) for their thoughtful responses and their time.

We hope you enjoy listening to how it felt taking part in the sessions through the members own voices.
